Scripture Reading Genesis 1:26-28

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26-28

My Summary Genesis 1:26-28:
For those of you who do not know, I am a scriptural addict. Please do not take my scriptural confidence as arrogance or prideful. I spend hours in the bible everyday just to get a deeper revelation of what scripture is spiritually conveying to me personally as I go deep into the word. Some people bake, make things or knit but for me, I have the Bible on me all the time to look up scripture on the spot.  I cannot get enough of  the word.  As a result of spending time alone in the word of God and in the presence of God, to go deep in the word of God.

Genesis 1:26-28 is an important scripture for all Christians to understand.

“God said, Let us make man in our image” God  is all about unity and God is a spirit and God was speaking into the spiritual man first before the physical man was called into existence by saying “Let us make man”. This profound statement was in a first person thought process of God thinking out loud to execute His creativity who is a creationist. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

God said, Let us make man in our image”, is an indication of His insightful view on unity as He said “Let us” meaning God was united with the spirit of man from the conception of His thought to self-declare and to unity declare “let us make man in our image after our likeness” which was a scriptural fore shadowing of things to come. It also gave an insight of God's authority and capacity ability of who God is, who is always perpetually one with us. The us, is we, you, or I who choose by a self-choice disposition spiritually and physically separate from God not God separating from us.

Ephesians 4:2-6  is a confirmation of this scriptural puzzle piece confirming link, linking us back to our unity traits as it existed from the very beginning.

"With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all" Unity is scriptural; discord and disunification is anti-scriptural.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

The key summary of this Genesis 1:26, God predetermined "us" meaning God and I, were going to establish dominion over us to include "let them have dominion over" Christian scriptural marriage, "let them have dominion over" their finances, "let them have dominion over" our scripturally assigned sexual orientation as a heterosexual "doer of the word" applicable Christian by scriptural marriage according to Matthew 19:4-8, "let them have dominion over" temptation, "let them have dominion over" evil speaking, "let them have dominion over" malice, "let them have dominion over" their life and death tongue,  "let them have dominion over" their will to mirror scripture according to John 1:1-3, "let them have dominion over" over pride, "let them have dominion over" over hate, "let them have dominion over" judging, "let them have dominion over" returning back to sin, "let them have dominion over" lying, "let them have dominion over" over stealing, "let them have dominion over" religiosity entitlement, "let them have dominion over" their Numbers 30:2 commitment to God, "let them have dominion over" sexual addictions.

God in His wisdom pre-established our individual and collective dominion which was never meant to be manipulated, to abuse or to oppress anyone within the body of Christ.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them" Genesis 1:27

Not surprising, God's scriptural directive to humanity after they know who they are in the word of God, God gave them the responsibility scriptural instruction to "be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” The instruction was to "be fruitful, and multiply" one cannot fulfill this biblical dissertation instruction to "be fruitful and multiply" if someone is a same-sex couple, meaning a male with a male or a female with a female, cannot reproduce naturally which is missing the scriptural mark. Hence the reason why a "doer of the word" scriptural applicability Christian is heterosexual to fulfill the mandate of Genesis 1:28-29 excluding individuals with medical conditions with the understanding that some of our brethren may have medical conditions that may medically cause them not to reproduce.

Christians must first be scripturally responsible to  actively execute the word of God over their life first in order to execute the word of God in this world.

If Christians do not follow the blueprint of the Bible we cannot expect the world to listen to us when we as a Christian community have not mastered scripture, have not operated within the integrity of scripture and have not applied scripture to our lifestyle to the best of our scriptural ability.

The bigger question is what sin disposition have we not "subdue" and what sin disposition has dominion over you?

"And God said let there be light" in our lives to outshine the darkness that we may have within us.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Let us individually and collective repent, stop doing the things we know are anti-scriptural, anti-God and antichrist, as you and I prepared to give ourselves away back to God so God can unconditionally us in a world that is in a state of crisis.
